Using Bitcoin as the currency of choice is that as CFX is international and involves many currencies, it is better to standardize with an internationally common currency, Bitcoin.
It would be to difficult for CFX to try and invest in 30+ currencies and still be able to keep up the fast pace.
With one common currency, processes can be maintained.
